What's the ultimate goal of life?
Going by the Hindu religion life is meant for the communion of the self being with the supreme being.
Life is but a journey towards the eventual reality of demise.
Death is not the end of life but the beginning of yet another life.
The cycle of life and death is never ending.
In effect, the goal of life is death and the goal of death is life!
